With three films in post-production and two more (including Russell Crowe's The Water Diviner) on the way, these are busy times for
Olga Kurylenko. She's managed to squeeze in one more project, however, in the form of Mara, a supernatural horror thriller from debut director Clive Tonge. Jonathan Frank (The Tournament) wrote the screenplay.
So we'll see, won't we? The project is currently up for grabs at the American Film Market, with shooting due to take place next May.

Ukrainian actress headlines supernatural tale...
It has been announced that Olga Kurylenko (‘Oblivion,’‘Seven Psychopaths,’‘To The Wonder’) will star in ‘Mara,’ a supernatural horror film that will mark the directorial debut of British filmmaker Clive Tonge.
Scripted by Jonathan Frank (‘The Tournament’), the film is based on the mythology and true phenomenon of sleep paralysis, commonly known as Sudden Unexpected Nocturnal Death Syndrome (SUNDS).
Kurylenko will be playing Kate Fuller, a criminal psychologist assigned to the murder of a man who has seemingly been strangled in his sleep by his wife, and the only witness is their eight-year-old daughter, Sophie. As Kate digs into the mystery of an ancient demon which kills people in their sleep, she experiences the same petrifying symptoms as all previous victims and spirals through a chilling nightmare to save herself and Sophie before she dares fall asleep again.
