Olga Kurylenko Talks with Cosmopolitan Russia
Olga: '' We have to work as hard as we can ''
Olga - actress Kurylenko and editor Sevastianova talked about the challenges that life throws to a modern woman, and how to combine tenderness with strength.
You are a very busy girl, so many things need time. Can you tell us the secret of how you can have a successful career and at the same time happy personal life?
(Laughs) You want the truth? I dont want to disappoint you but it is very hard. My friends used to tell me that we only talk through Skype and WhatsApp. In order to have personal life you need to put up some restrictions, to work less or even stop.( thinks for a second) or you can choose a man that will follow you everywhere you go in this world.
And If he is not interesting for you?
There are alot of examples of inspiring friends i have. If i myself, had a relationship with a writer, he could go anywhere in the world.
Lets talk about careers! You recipe for efficiency
Again no miracles, you just have to work as hard as you can. Get up early in the morning and start by doing some chores, always find something to do and run, you stay up late and will not have much of a sleep. A day has 24 hours, allow yourself to rest only during sleep.
How do you plan your work where are too many?
I am a control freak. Every day, before i go to sleep, i write in my diary all the things i want to do the next day. As i write i remember more things to add, and the list goes on and on. It is important for me to do a plan, attend to all calendar appointments, and have a scedule for the day. i want to know exactly what to expect the next day. I am not a last minute person. I begin to prepare my suitcase a week before i depart. I already know that i will forget a lot of things if i leave it on the last minute.
How is your typical day?
While i am on set, we have to get up at 4am in the morning, and until the next day we need to be on the set again.
That is some schedule! and here we are complaining about long hardworking hours! Any exercise remains?
When filming action movies you have to be in a great physical state, so i get an extra hour of sleep instead of going and spending that hour to a gym
Do you like life as it is today, an eternal marathon?
Everyone seems to be well with what they have. One of my friends is married with children, and lives a very beautiful life,when i tell her that i too live an amazing life, she replied that she wants to the kind of life i have. She used to be a very successful model and now her career is over. So as it seems is impossible to do two things at the same time. But you cant be a superwoman and combine it all successfully .
Maybe we should be able to delegate tasks?
If you have a team who is ready to do anything for you then why not. But in my profession, it is impossible. I cannot bring someone on stage who can play my role. But if you are a head of a certain company. then it is your employees who are doing the most work, and you are the one leading the whole process, safely possessing shares. But this is not my case,an actor does real physical labour, no faitytales.
But what about the time you devote for yourself?
While we were filming Impulse ( will be released in 2015) in South Africa, I managed to go for a massage at a spa, few times. We also went hiking, and mountain climbing. It is certainly difficult, but on the other hand is relaxing. You can breath fresh air and get distracted. We also went at a safari to see animals in their natural habitat. I love animals. let me just watch the wildlife. Generally, i try to do stuff in my life that give me joy and relaxation. When i do have some holiday i do a lot of walking.
In addition to your career you have tried out as a designer as well. Tell us about your project Bailets by Olga Kurylenko
I came up with the idea of making a designer scarf. I had to develop a pattern, and it was such a pleasure! I always draw some stuff here and there.
In my opinion, ornament does not look like scribbles. Rather, drawing art decoration. What inspired you?
A bottle of liquor is very creative( She laughs), Actually just sit and think about it, blend your design in with the project.
What is the mood or subject you are trying to express?
I wanted to create a stylish scarf. But at the same time something feminine, modern like you and me. For us to be attractive, but also to look stronger than before. Have time to look for a career, look for a man to make a family with, and raise your children. How to cope with all these? with the scarf i have created, is an incredible way for women to cope with all at once. The main feature of a woman who will wear this scarf will be certainly, power. The silk should soften the image. I, myself always try to combine softness with hardness, and tenderness with confidence.

Former bond girls who are playing super sexy girlfriends- not all actresses get this chance- Olga did, and these kind of girls get into a special and unique category . Olga faced international fame, acknowledged as sex symbol, and had a lot of proposals to participate in blockbusters. James Bond star, Olga Kurylenko participates every year in several box office hit films.
In an exclusive interview with ELLE actress spoke about the ideal man, the facets of her talent and career dreams.
''In my mind the perfect guy, is someone who is funny and smart and must have a respect for women.
The main secret of seduction is to look good. To look great you need to eat healthy and sleep well. And in the afternoon you dont need make up, you only need to apply mascara on your eyelashes and lip gloss on your lips. In the evening you focus on the eyes, especially I love the 60's style, a shade of black, brown or beige, and you need a splash of perfume as well. In general the main things are your health and and the shine in the eyes.
A small silk handkerchief, is what is needed for any kind of occasion, which can complete any image. Most recently, I designed, a pale cream colour silk scarf -Baileys by Olga Kurylenko- it will save any woman when being in a situation where she has no accessories/bags on her.
I cannot imagine my wardrobe without any accessories. I am very fond of large earrings.
Another thing i do not like is bulky items, that is why i would never wear shorts with tights. I prefer wearing clothes that emphasize the figure of a woman.
In my purse you will always find an Elizabeth Arden Cream, which is good for any kind of purpose, to moister the lips, hands and nails.
On my wish list at the moment there is just one thing, holidays with my friends and family.
I also wished to be a part of a historical film, the action which takes place at the 17th and 18th centuries. It is fascinating how people could immerse themselves at that life. Basically I am attracted to images, where people moved and dressed differently than now. Once i had the opportunity to play in historical tape, at the period of World War I, though sadly as action is more popular nowadays, i have mostly played in modern movies.
I like to reincarnate, to try out new roles. Each role leaves an experience behind. Just by being a Bond Girl, I have gained so many skills, and I learned to do a lot of tricks. What i loved the most, is drifting - I still remember how to do this!
To my opinion the only negative thing of my work, is that i don't have a permanent residence, as i am always on the road and sometimes this gets very difficult.
My most beloved city is Paris, i associate that place with so many memories, as i began my career in Paris.
I love breaks off my work, with quiet family or extreme sports. With the rest of my family and friends we usually make barbecue on the courtyard, watching films and relaxing or going walks on the park. Recently, I went on a safari, i fed elephants, and stroked cheetahs. I also love to explore caves, mountain climbing and hiking.
I adore, David Lynch Lars von Trier movies. If we are talking about the most recent film i have watched that would be ''Salt'' with Angelina Jolie. The thing is i will play a very similar role with Angelina, so it was quite interesting to observe her character.
Because of the lack of time i rarely listen to music, though if i had some time, i would have prefer to listen to a calm relaxing sound.

Zoey Deutch Lands New Lead Role ''Thats What Im Talking About''
Zoey Deutch has an exciting new project coming up – she will be the leading lady in the upcoming baseball flick That’s What I’m Talking About!
The movie is the acclaimed director Richard Linklater‘s highly anticipated follow up to his hit film Boyhood, which received tons of rave reviews this summer.
In That’s What I’m Talking About, Zoey will be playing the lead female character Beverly alongside such hunky actors as Tyler Hoechlin, Ryan Guzman, and Glen Powell. While the plot details aren’t available yet, the movie will center on the lives of baseball players on and off the field in the ’80s
Also on Zoey‘s slate is the upcoming film Good Kids, which she is currently shooting alongside Ashley Judd and Demian Bichir.

This Broadway Phenom Is Taking Hollywood By Storm
Interview
With gamine-meets-girly style and a fresh face, we expected 19-year-old Sami Gayle to be like the lovable girl next door: sweet as pie. And, she is. But, her deliberate, thoughtful insights reveal an intellect and a depth that made us even more excited to get to know this ingénue. Not to mention, she’s got a pretty impressive résumé.
A dancer practically since she could walk, Gayle moved to New York when she was 11 years old to study at Steps on Broadway (a professional dance school on the Upper West Side). Just one Broadway audition later, she was starring in Gypsy with Patti LuPone. Since her first “big break,” Sami has starred in indie films like Hateship Loveship and big-ticket flicks like Vampire Academy, and she's scored a series regular role as Nicky Reagan-Boyle on Blue Bloods.
So, between shooting and classes (she just started college), we snagged the starlet for a tour of NYC on a sunny Saturday and snapped her in some of her favorite designers, courtesy of Neiman Marcus. Ahead, we spill the scoop on the best career advice she’s ever received (the sage minds of Adrien Brody and Tom Selleck make appearances), why she'll never stop performing, and when she developed that fierce sense of style.
R: Between filming Blue Bloods and doing press, your schedule must be packed. Why did you choose to start school now?
SG: "I don't want to do anything besides act, but I DO want to be a really well-rounded person. I've already done two summer sessions — I just finished my second one yesterday! So, I'm ahead of the game now if I need to take a lighter course-load for work. Mark Feuerstein [from Royal Pains], who has been an amazing mentor, inspires me. He's a successful actor, but he went to Princeton. He's a polyglot, and he's brilliant."
When did you fall in love with performing?
SG: "I went all over the country for dance competitions growing up, and I would leave before the awards part of the competition. I just wanted to be onstage. But, when you watch an audience respond to your [acting] when you're portraying a message about the human condition, you know you're affecting people. No matter what's happening in your life, you can step into someone else's shoes, assume their character and emotions, and just empty yourself."

Hollywood fairy tales are pretty rare, but your story IS one. What was your big break?
SG: "My teacher at Steps on Broadway offered me a role in a Broadway show. Her husband was the choreographer. I had to turn it down because my brother was being bar mitzvahed. But, he started looking for auditions for me and found Gypsy. I auditioned with thousands of people and eventually got the part. I've been acting — with my brother as my manager — ever since."

Zoey Deutch lets the sun shine through in these breathtaking images from her new feature with Untitledmagazine.
The 19-year-old actress opened up about getting advice from her mom,Lea Thompson, new projects and her love for Jennifer Lawrence.
On her mom: “My mom directs me for auditions and just gives me little tidbits of insane wisdom all the time.”
On her admiration of Jennifer Lawrence: “I would go to actress jail if I didn’t say Jennifer Lawrence. She’s remarkable and whether it was calculated or truily unintentional, she’s the first kind of American’s sweetheart to get rid of the stigma of having to be this perfect, tiny, skinny blond or little angel. And she made it real. A real human being who’s funny, sarcastic and crude at times.”
On what she’s working on now: “I’m actually writing a short story with a friend…and my sister wrote a script called A Year of Spectacular Men that my mom’s directing. We’re gonna shoot in the fall, if all goes as planned, which is very exciting.”
